Spring Highlights- 2019

The birds came back, bees were busy and bluebells blooming, nature’s spring activities underway and so were our residents’. Like the birds, we enjoyed sing alongs. Like the bees we got sticky hands (baking). And like the bluebells we enjoyed the first sun rays.

With too much going on to share we’ll highlight some of our best moments from daily activities to our hosted events.

Water Painting

This activity doesn’t require years of artistic experience and a steady hand, just the appreciation and enjoyment of art and painting. This relaxing and rewarding activity brought lovely colour into our home… without the mess and ruined overalls!

Baking

If there’s one activity that our residents can’t resist, it would be baking! It’s a great opportunity to be creative, chin wag and stay active; not to mention… eating your delicious efforts!

Easter Party

We love a good party and who can blame us when there’s a ton of activities to enjoy and we’re surrounded by family and friends.

-Agenda-

Egg Hunt - Raffle - Tombola - Egg Decorating Competition - Easter Bonnet Competition - Golden Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny turned out to be our mystery guest, treating us with some deserved easter chocolate which lasted all of 5 minutes!

Thank you to all that showed and made it a special day to remember! And a massive appreciation to our prize donators!

Elvis Tribute

Whether you liked him or not (how could you not though), Elvis put on a show that was entertaining and lively. Despite not being the “real thing”, our Elvis Tribute put on quite the act! So good that a few of our residents wanted to keep him!

Mini-Bus

We are over the moon to announce our brand new mini-bus which we can use to take our residents further a field and more often than before. From local trips to the band stand to “all dayers” at the beach! We can’t wait to share with you our mini-bus adventures! Logos will be put on soon, make sure you give us a wave when we go by!

We hope you had a lovely spring season too! Follow our Instagram and Facebook page to keep up to date with our residents activities and any upcoming events.
