A moment of gratitude, reflection and remembrance.
Remembrance Day is an important opportunity to honour the people who have served in the Armed Forces, and to reflect on the sacrifices made by service personnel, their families and communities.
For many residents and families, this day can hold a deeply personal meaning. It may bring to mind memories of loved ones, stories passed down through generations, or experiences that have shaped a family’s history.
At Ashfield Nursing Home, we take time to listen to and value the individual stories that residents choose to share. Remembering together helps us recognise the service, courage and sacrifice of so many people.
Today, we pause with gratitude and respect.
Lest we forget.
