Leeds Memory Walk 2026
Team Ashfield Completes the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk
On Sunday 11 October, members of the Ashfield Nursing Home team proudly completed the Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk in Leeds, raising an incredible £250 for a cause that means a great deal to us.
The weather was perfect for the occasion, making it a wonderful day for our team to come together, enjoy the walk and show their support for people living with dementia and the families, friends and carers affected by it.
Walking for an Important Cause
Supporting people living with dementia is at the heart of what we do at Ashfield Nursing Home. Taking part in the Memory Walk gave our team an opportunity to extend that support beyond our home and help Alzheimer’s Society continue its important work.
The charity provides information and support, funds dementia research and campaigns to improve the lives of people affected by dementia. Every contribution helps it continue working towards a better future.
An Amazing £250 Raised
We are delighted to have raised £250 through the generosity of our supporters. We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, shared our fundraising page or offered words of encouragement before the walk.
Every donation, regardless of its size, contributed to our final total. Knowing that so many people were supporting us made completing the walk even more meaningful for everyone involved.
Well Done, Team Ashfield
We are incredibly proud of the Ashfield team members who took part and represented our home. Their enthusiasm and commitment helped make the day a memorable one while raising awareness and funds for an important cause.
Congratulations to everyone who completed the walk, and thank you once again to all those who supported Team Ashfield. Together, we raised £250 and helped make a positive difference for people affected by dementia.
